STATE PRESIDENT’S 2012 MESSAGE

Let us this year break new ground, and plant a fresh crop for the future - it is time - forget the chain of command and structure—but do be respectful of it - let us go instead with A TEAM – It works well and I believe it has for you also – Doesn’t it allow us to be more creative, comfortable, productive and with better results

In our nature its always nice to hear the positive and the good stuff - it makes us all feel good – HOWEVER - lets try this - tell us the problems, issues and concerns - this gives us an awareness and things we can work on, fix, resolve and a chance to grow – remember harmony being our purpose , and thus to prosper

If anyone - a club, person, potential new member, International officers, the Grand Master, the Potentate or the President of the United States Himself contacts you – they selected you and YOU ARE THEIR PREFERENCE – be thankful and excited – take the ball and run with it – make a difference – communicate with them – do what you are requested of - ―forget this who is the leader‖ – just keep your other teammates in the loop – don’t refer them up the chain to a higher officer or president – YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN – I personally would be proud of a team member with that charisma to receive such attention and you are the one that can make that difference

This is not a year of positions and rank but of teamwork – not for self - but for service – it aint about us – it’s about them

Do see the back of this years Florida State directory – Club Visitations by State Officers - Drop In Visitations – Invitations and Punctuality – it teaches and instructs by leaders of the past - intelligent folks who have gone this way before us - How to be received, act and present yourself – please read and be familiar with it – we can gain more respect by what this instructs us in than any other way – and the proof is in the pudding from the response / calls and Emails received - a positive and harmonious difference has been made and noticed – you have made the difference and are welcomed and warmly received
